I never understood why couples spend a ton of money on flowers – even if they have a large budge to work with – I think the money could be well-spent on something else.

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me. But I think $281 is a pretty good price for everything, and it’s local! Flowers are just flowers anyway … and this is coming from a person who is obsessed with them, hehe.

well i guess that your wedding plans are in full swing! i’m sooo excited for you and can’t wait to see pictures of your big day!!

lol after two kids..we’re still dragging our feet over here on setting a date. wait heck i’m still waiting for proper proposal. not a “hey you wanna marry me, well let’s go get married at city hall now.” *le sigh

i can’t wait to see the dress. i found my dream dress over a year ago but can never imagine shelling out $2000 for a dress that i’ll wear for one day. Plus we’d probably be paying for the wedding ourselves so that would never make the dress budget. which reminds me that i’ve been meaning to revisit this whole planning a wedding thing, but maybe put it off for another year after we find out what nando’s doing as far as his future job path goes.

lovely. la zingara is awesome. they were very accommodating when we booked my bachelorette dinner there and the food was truly amazing. great choice.

just a recommendation…go with someone you know for the music. don’t rely on what other people say. our dj supposedly was “fantastic” and ended up being the only thing i was disappointed with on the day of the wedding. music is such a personal thing. what other may like might not be your style at all. just a word to the wise…

i went with flowers by design on wyandotte in walkerville and she did an amazing job. my bouquet was purple cala lillies and came to $120. if you’re still pricing cakes, our friend jennifer hillis does a great job and makes the best cheesecakes in town. grace can give you the info if needed.
